Traveling with Your Pet
The following links are provided to help you plan for traveling or moving with your pet.
Even if you are traveling only between states within the US, there are restrictions and legal requirements for the transport of pets. Some preparations, particularly for international travel, must be begun months before departure. Other examinations or treatments may need to be performed close to the date of travel.
It's important to your pet's health and safety - as well as your peace of mind - to make sure you've made the appropriate preparations, acquired the proper documentation, and had your pet examined and vaccinated as needed, well in advance of your travel plans.
