Dr. Laura Holland, VMD
Dr. Holland comes to Animal Hospital of Warwick with a varied number of experiences.
After graduating from the University of Rochester she worked in various laboratories performing highly technical research and cutting edge development. She received her Masters Degree in Laboratory Animal Science from Hahnneman and from there worked for a company that made artificial organs. With her love of animals and encouragement from colleages she made her decision to become a veterinarian. She graduated in 1998 with her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Her primary interests are neurology and feline medicine. Her adopted cat David was an inspiration to her. David had a very poor prognosis after a devastating injury at 8 weeks old; Dr. Holland used her experiences after a neurology rotation to care for and nuture David back to health. He lived 10 years enjoying a wonderful, quality life. Because of her passion for feline medicine, Dr. Holland has made it her goal to stay abreast of all new studies and to educate the public as well as colleagues.
Dr. Holland lives in Bucks County with 1 human, 3 canines and 13 felines. Yes, they all get along, with the occasional exception of the human.
